The Journal of Sensors is issuing a Call for Papers in a wide range of optical sensing topics, including:
- Integrated waveguide-based sensors
- Microresonators’ based sensing
- Optical fiber and nanowires based sensors
- Microstructured fibers and photonic crystals
- Bragg and long period grating based sensors
- Novel micro and nano-structured materials for optical sensing
- Theory, modelling and simulation of sensing devices
- Optimization strategies for sensors design
- Signal processing and multiplexing techniques
- Emerging applications (biomedicine, food industry, pharmaceutical, security)
- Fault tolerance, reliability and yield issues of devices
- Applications and technoeconomic evaluation of optical sensors in large scale sensor networks
Review articles in particular are most welcome.
