Design LED products have developed and patented an Innovative display technology. Based on standard side emitting LEDs and a patented printed light guide technology it enables a new generation of thin, flexible display products and backlit capacitive switches.

Main Markets
Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are available in white and all primary colours which can be mixed to create a wide palette. Animation effects can be created by fading & mixing colours. Examples of product applications are shown throughout the web site. Customers can: Illuminate/enhance their brand or logo Create eye catching point of sale advertising Illuminating hidden icons only when required Suitable applications include: Consumer electronic products Point of sale advertising Keyboards/interface devices Games consoles Automotive display The only limits are only those of a designers imagination.

Specialised Skills and Facilities
Patented technique for manufacturing thin (1mm) lightguides with integral LEDs and uniform output illumination. A capacitive switch sense pad can (optionally) be added to these parts.
