Gilden Photonics Ltd (GPL) was formed in 2005 as a specialist representative and manufacturing company focused on the sales and service of spectroscopic components and optical instruments. This goal encompasses the custom configuration of optical solutions and a consultancy service to solve customer measurement problems.

Product/Research Description

GPL has a close relationship with the company Zolix Instruments (China) whose products include monochromators, spectrographs, spectrometers, a variety of light sources including xenon, deuterium, tungsten, and globar sources, a range of photomultiplier and photo diode detectors covering the spectral ranges from ultraviolet (UV) to Infrared (IR), as well as a full range of precision opto-mechanical positioning equipment. These products will be supported across Europe through our chain of accredited distributors. Through the link with Zolix GPL can offer European manufacturers an ethical source for economically priced development, design and manufacture in China. GPL are also proud of our association with Specim (Finland), an innovative company specialising in components for hyper-spectral imaging systems with wide ranging scientific and industrial applications.
