Organisation Description

Alistair Tweedie Consulting (ATC) is an innovation, technology and engineering consultancy which has offered technology and business services for the last 8 years. ATC works with companies, trade associations, Knowledge Transfer Networks, public sector organisations and university research groups to promote technology transfer and growth in electronics and optoelectronics. ATC also provides electronic design services.

> Carrying out market research
> Writing industry and research directories, reports and roadmaps

ATC Electronic Design Services:
> Product concept development
> Electronics hardware design from concept through detailed circuit board design, printed circuit board layout, prototype manufacture and test (main areas: analogue, microcontrollers, interface logic, OEM modules, OEM sensors)
> Embedded microcontroller software
> Prototype manufacture
> Manufacturing engineering

This work has enabled the build up of considerable experience and knowledge of the Scottish/UK electronics and optoelectronics industry and research base and to establish personal contacts with many of its key members.

ATC can assist organisations by quickly providing additional resource to supplement in-house teams or provide training.
