Photonics for a Secure World

Speakers at the event highlighted developments in photonic detection of explosives. The Ministry of Defence - Open for Innovation event held 29 April at Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh was summarised. Current defence and security prime contractor needs were outlined. State-of-the-art gas sensing capabilities were described.
Product Management - a systematic approach to business growth

The event focused on “Building a bullet proof product business case”. We examined a crucial part of product development – How to value and create a product business case.
We quickly showcased two industry experiences and then ran a workshop to develop our own checklist of key elements that together form a business plan that would pass muster for an internal funding committee or persuade an investor to come on board and more significantly convince yourself!
